Alan Darrell Ragon, age 68 of Nashville, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2021, surrounded by those who were entrusted with his care.
Al was born in Gary, IN to the late George & Mary Morgan Ragon. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and will be laid to rest with his brethren-in-arms on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM in Middle Tennessee State Veteran Cemetery, with honors provided by the United States Army.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers: Arthur Dean, Caleb "Butch" and George D "Skeeter" Ragon; sisters: Daisy Fyock, Mary Morigi and Margaret Sabo.
He is survived a sister: Janet (Richard) Matherly; son: Matthew Snawder; daughter: Nikki Ragon; and several nieces and nephews.
