Anne Erman

ERMAN, Anne Donahue – 08/19/1942 – 10/13/2013. Died peacefully at home in Nashville surrounded by loving family. She is survived, ever loved and remembered by husband William, daughter Julie Miller with husband Jim and their daughter Brandy, her son Tom Stow and his daughter Caitlin. Also sisters Barbara Zeigler of VA and her family, Dotty Kelly of MA and her family, and Pat Elgart of MA and her family. Anne was pre-deceased by her parents, Tom and Dorothy Donahue., her brother Brad Donahue, and her sister Catherine Ray. Anne was retired from her work as medical resident coordinator at Vanderbilt University Medical Center internal medicine clinic. Since retiring Anne has been very active at Bellevue Presbyterian Church as a Deacon and recently as Moderator of the BPC branch of The Presbyterian Women. She was also Historian for the Bellevue Women's Club at the time of her passing. Loving all God's creatures Anne also fostered rescue dogs as much as possible and kept several. As a friend and neighbor wrote upon learning of Anne's passing, “Anne was the ultimate volunteer. She and Bill were often fostering pets for adoption services. She was very active in her church; Historian for the Bellevue Women’s Club; active with several Bridge clubs; volunteered for Hospice . . . she served her community, family and friends in many ways. She’ll be missed."
