She was married to Austin Cordes on April 11, 2015, in Gatlin, TN. Courtney worked for Harvest Sound and devoted her time to missions and church work.
She is survived by her husband Austin; Mother Susan Benefield; son Rhyth Trueman Cordes and brothers Miles, Scott, Philip and Frankie.
