Daniel Ray Bayless, 75, of Mount Juliet, TN, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022.
He was born in Quanah, Texas on March 5, 1946. Daniel Ray Bayless graduated from McCallum High School and received a degree in Communications/Radio, Television and Film from University of Texas-Austin.
He was married to Melani Wright Bayless on January 5, 1971, in Yokosuka, Japan. Daniel Ray Bayless worked in communications for Brenham Cable, Northland Cable and CMA. He was a member of The Village Chapel and Rotary and has a passion for the Lord, his family and football.
He is preceded in death by his parents Rev. Jackson Thomas Bayless and Mary Elizabeth Strahan Bayless.
He is survived by his wife Melani Ann Wright Bayless; daughter Heather Lynn Bayless; granddaughter Sydney Lauren Davis; grandson Jordan Daniel Davis; brothers Jackson (Anna Bayless) and Nathan (Alice Bayless).
Services will be on January 22, 2022, at 3pm at The Village Chapel at 2021 21st Avenue S, Nashville, TN 37212. Please send flowers to church.
