Deborah Lorraine “Debbie” Davis December 4, 2025 – Nashville, Tennessee

In the early morning hours of a quiet winter day, Deborah Lorraine Davis, known to most simply as Debbie, passed away at the age of 74. Her family and friends held her in their thoughts and prayers, honoring the life she lived and the connections she nurtured, always putting others’ needs before her own.

Debbie was born to Charles and Patricia Majors in Texas. She carried her parents’ influence throughout her life, treasuring the guidance, steadiness, and values they instilled in her. Their love shaped her into the industrious, curious, and determined woman she became. While she made her home in Tennessee, she maintained a fond connection to her Texas roots, particularly the city of San Antonio, with its vibrant River Walk, historic missions, and warm, sunlit streets.

Debbie devoted her professional life to supporting local businesses such as Atech and Davishire, working as someone skilled in accounting and bookkeeping. Precision and patience were her tools, and she was known for her reliability and thoroughness.

Her joys were simple but meaningful. She loved collecting recipes, baking for those she cared for, and traveling, especially on cruises, which she enjoyed sharing with her sister Patrice, creating cherished memories on the open sea. Whether exploring new destinations, reminiscing about her past, or sharing moments with family and friends, Debbie approached life with curiosity and determination.

Debbie’s love for her children was central to her life. She is survived by her son, Bryan Moate, his wife Amanda, their children Charlotte, Miles, and Elizabeth, and her great-grandchild Hudson. She is also survived by her daughter, Kimberly Gray, Kim’s husband Greg, their daughters Sadie Gray and Brinly Smith, Brinly’s husband Elijah, and her great-grandchild Ambrose.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Patricia Majors, and her brother Steven Majors.

Debbie shared a lifelong bond with her brother Randall Scott Majors and his wife Lori, and her sister Patrice Ann Majors. Their closeness brought her comfort and contentment throughout her life, and she cherished the memories and support they shared. She also walked through life surrounded by the care and companionship of close friends Janine Hunter, Jerry and Hazel Ellenberger, Ivan “Buzzy” and Sharon Baughman, and Jeanne Howlett, who were sources of support and joy in her life.

Those who knew Debbie will remember her for her industrious nature, her presence, her loyalty to the places she called home, and the quiet ways she made life richer for those around her. Her legacy endures in the love she shared and the impression she leaves on all who knew her. Debbie’s life concluded with the knowledge that she was remembered and prayed for by the family and friends who loved her. Her family will continue to honor her life and the impression she leaves behind—a testament to a woman who believed that love, shared in her own way, is among life’s most enduring gifts.
