Don Hartsfield

James Donald (Don) Hartsfield, age 75 passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at his residence in Nashville, TN after a long illness. His body was cremated with a memorial celebration of life planned at a later date.Don Hartsfield was born October 23, 1945 in Paris, TN to the late James E. (Pete) and Mary Sue Underwood Hartsfield.He was survived by his sister, Judy (James) Daniel of Paris; a brother, Jerry (Mary) Hartsfield of Newfoundland, Canada; daughter-in-law, Christi Hartsfield; 2 grandchildren, Brandi Hartsfield Swaby and Jordan Hartsfield; 3 great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Abigail and Allisyn Swaby all of Paris; niece, Debra (Chad) Brewer and nephews, Scott (Mary) Grooms of Paris, and Terry (Laura) Harstfield of Old Hickory, TN. Special friends, Mike Bussa and Chad Tribble, and many other numerous close friends in Nashville.Besides his parents and grandparents, the late Veron and Annie Hartsfield, and Chester and Erin Underwood of Paris, he is also preceded in death by his son, Michael Ray Hartsfield; sister, Sandra Kay Hartsfield; brother, Stephen Jerome Hartsfield and nephew, Jerry Dale Hartsfield.Don was a very special person who loved to help others and was loved by everyone who knew him.
