Douglas Wayne White

Douglas Wayne White of Lakewood, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Doug was a 1979 graduate of DuPont High School and lifelong resident of Nashville. He was a cabinetmaker for many years until his health declined. Doug then spent his time helping friends, gardening, entertaining fellow musicians, and caring for his parents. He was a tremendous blessing to both his parents, serving as their caregiver for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Nancy White, and his sister, Katy White. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, David and Pam White, along with their children and grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Hughbert Collier and their children and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
