Fred Eachus, Jr of Rockwood, TN passed away at the Tennessee State Veterans’ Home in Murfreesboro, TN on January 25, 2015.Preceded in death by his wife: Omelia Burnett Eachus; parents: Robbie Stegall Eachus and Fred Eachus, Sr; siblings: Robert Eachus and Henry Eachus. Survived by children: Rebecca Eachus Bingham (Ronald) of Manchester, TN, Fred Eachus III of Powell, TN, Patricia Eachus of Antioch, TN and Thomas Eachus of Rockwood, TN; granddaughters: Kristen Bingham Bryan of Manchester, TN, Ashleigh Bingham Orellana of Nashville, TN; and great-granddaughter: Olivia Bryan of Manchester, TN.Mr. Eachus was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army in the North African and European Theaters. He was part owner and sales manager of Molyneaux Chevrolet Company until 1973 and then became Fire Chief of Rockwood, TN until the mid 1980’s. He was a lifelong member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Harriman, TN.Mr. Eachus was a member of the Rockwood Rotary Club, a life member of the VFW Post 4782 and a 50 year member of the F&AM Masonic Lodge #403.The family will have a private interment at a later date.NASHVILLE FUNERAL and CREMATION 615-256-1605
