Gary Onusseit

On Thursday, January 14, 2021, Gary Carl Onusseit, passed away at the age of 91 in Nashville, TN.Gary was born December 12, 1929 to German immigrants in Rochester, NY.He retired from both General Motors and Unisys Corporation. His hobbies and interests over the years have been running, bowling, golfing, bridge, pinochle, traveling, and eating out.Gary is a Korean War Veteran, having served in the Air Force in Mississippi and Colorado, from December 1949 to April 1952.He is survived by wife, Edith Onusseit, children, Glenn Onusseit, Gail Hurley, and Cheryl (Wayne) Cope, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Gary was preceded in death by his father and mother, Fred and Emma Onusseit, brother, Hal Onusseit, and sister, Irma Lill.A private service will be held.
