Mrs. Mattie Odell Bone HerefordMrs. Mattie Odell Bone Hereford, 86 years old departed this life on March 13 ^th , 2013 at her home in LaVergne, TN after a long illness.Mrs. Hereford was born April 2 ^nd , 1926 in Madison, Alabama to Willie H. Bone and Fannie D. Cliff who both preceded her in death. She was retired housekeeper at Park View Hospital and a member of St. James CME Church in LaVergne, TN.Mrs. Hereford was married for 36 years to Daniel Jefferson Hereford Sr. until his death in 1982. To this union was born six sons Daniel Jr. (Linda), Radcliff, KY; Arrid, LaVergne, TN; Ronald (Juanita), Nashville, TN; Gregory (Donna),Nashville, TN; Clyde (Deborah), LaVergne, TN and Wendell, LaVergne, TN; Five daughters: Joan Marie Searcy (Willie), Columbus, GA; Carolyn Buchanan, Murfreesboro, TN; Doris L. Adkinson, Murfreesboro, TN; Fayette, Nashville, TN; and Amanda (Theodore) Meadows, LaVergne, TN.Mrs. Hereford's oldest child, Joan Marie Searcy, and youngest child, Wendell, preceded her in death.Memorial service for Mrs. Hereford will be held Thursday, March 21 ^st , 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the City of LaVergne Multiplex Center located behind LaVergne Police Department, 5093 Murfreesboro Road, LaVergne, TN 37086.Internment at the Nashville National Cemetery, 1420 Gallatin Pike, Madison, TN 37115 on Friday March 22 ^nd , 2013 at 12:30 p.m. Grave side service will be held at that time.
