Katherine E. Rhodes

Katherine (Kay) Mockler Rhodes, 95, of Nashville passed away peacefully at her home on October 12, 2025. 

Kay will be remembered for her patience and steadfast nature. She was a retired dietician; but most of all she was a stay-at-home mom who enjoyed cooking and baking, sewing and knitting and reading murder mysteries and the newspaper. She is survived by her four grateful children, Louis (Rea) Rhodes, Kathleen Rhodes, Mary (Don) McNeill and John (Tomoko) Rhodes; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. 

Kay is preceded in death by her husband, Louis C. Rhodes; four brothers and three sisters. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 14, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Nashville and she will be laid to rest in Ascension Cemetery in Lake Forest, CA on Saturday, December 6th.
