Kathryn Elaine Maki

On March 3rd, Kathryn E Maki, our wonderful friend passed away at the age of 55. 

Katie was born in Duluth, MN on 26 December 1968.  She lived in several states before finding her home in Nashville, TN.  She was a bartender in Arizona and a manager at FlyAway for 8 years in Nashville. She was not afraid to tackle any problem or fix anything with just a screwdriver, a hammer and pure determination. If you needed to find her, just follow the trail of popcorn or find one of her many lost lighters she will be there eventually.  She was a free spirit with a big heart. She loved her three rescued kitties, crafting, plants, blowing bubbles, painting, cooking, Budlight, Peppermint Schnapps, butterflies, and shopping. She was loved by many and adored by her chosen family. Katie will be missed but never forgotten.  Fly with the butterflies.  You are free now.
