Kay Cron Hagewood

Kay Cron Hagewood was born Martha Katherine Cron on August 2, 1957 to the late Martha Catherine Donnell Cron and Charles Hayden Cron. She graduated with honors from Tennessee Technological University in 1979 with a degree in accounting and later became a CPA. She worked for Gaylord Entertainment/Ryman Hospitality Properties for 46 years. Kay was a member of The Main Street Church of Christ in Springfield, TN. Kay is survived by her darling of 46 years Thomas Lynn, her children Nicholas (Morgan) and Emily Hagewood, brothers Pat (Jannifer) and Dave (Linda) Cron, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Kay passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026 under the loving care of Alive Hospice in Nashville. A memorial service will be held in her honor at 11am on February 27, 2026 at The Main Street Church of Christ in Springfield, Tennessee. There will be a visitation starting at 10am. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations on Kay’s behalf to Alive Hospice of Nashville.
