Kira Leigh Spears

Kira Leigh Spears was born at Westside Hospital in Nashville the evening of June 19, 1987. She was raised in East Nashville and graduated from East High Magnet in May 2005. She moved to Chattanooga to attend the University of Tennessee, where she received a Bachelor of Science in both chemistry and biology. After graduation, she chose to remain, where she purchased a home, worked a variety of jobs, and gathered many wonderfully unique friends.

It was while living in Chattanooga she was diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cirrhosis, which ultimately was her cause of death on November 26, 2023. She is survived by her daughter (Grace), mom and dad, paternal grandparents, two brothers, two sisters, four nephews, four nieces, five aunts, one uncle, and thirteen immediate cousins. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, grandmothers, two uncles, one aunt, and a cousin.
