Laverne Floyd

Laverne W.Floyd, a loving mother of three adult children, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at the age of 79. A 1982 graduate of Eastern Washington University, she held a BSN in Nursing and was a licensed RN over 35 yrs. She held very strong talents as a self taught piano player, cake decorater, and endless crafting skills. She was a devout Christian beloved to many and had a heart of gold She resided at Whitehaven Assisted Living Facility in Adams, Tennessee. She was born October 7,1941 in Brandenton, Florida, and preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Olive Satilla Smith, her brothers Ronald, and Buddy Smith, and her sister Claudine Bridges, and her grandson Tommy Christenson. She is survived by her three daughters Debbie Dougherty of Chesapeake Virginia, Susan Bell of Mt. Juliet, Tn, and Teresa Goodwin of Murfreesboro, Tn. Her grandchildren, Wesley and Atsuko Christenson, David and Lindsey Christenson, Meghann and Anya Christenson, Micheal Frederick, Alyssa Davis, Henry and Ethan Goodwin.
