Lurae Eversberg

Lurae Faulkner Eversberg was born in Kingsport, TN on March 17, 1943. She died peacefully on April 19, 2013 in Nashville, TN, surrounded by the family she loved dearly. She is survived by her son Cliff Colmery of Clarksville, TN; daughters Kelly Holt of Tucson, AZ and Christy Downs (Joe) of Clarksville, TN; sister Jackie Rodriguez (J.R.) of Placentia, CA; grandchildren Brittany Holt of Anaheim, CA; Nicolas Holt of Tucson, AZ; and Joey Downs of Clarksville, TN. She was preceeded in death by her mother Mary Helen (Wyatt) Faulkner and father Virgil (Speedy) Faulkner of Kingsport, TN and Brother Virgil Faulkner, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN. Lurae was a much beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School in Kingsport, TN, and a retired nurse who touched many lives during her career. She will be remembered for her persistent sense of humor, and a life full of dancing, fishing, butterflies and roses. Per her wishes, a celebration of life will be held in May for family and friends to feast, laugh and remember.
