Mary Catherine Austin Chavez, age 84 of Nashville, passed away May 4, 2013; born March 24, 1929 in Detroit, MI. Survived by daughter Carol Phifer of Nashville; son Michael Austin, Cookeville; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
