Matthew Joseph Nipper

The staff of Nashville Funeral and Cremation is honored to serve the Nipper / Anderson family; however saddened to note the passing of Matthew Joseph Nipper, age 25 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Matthew Joseph Nipper, 25 of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Tampico and Rock Falls, IL, passed away on Tuesday November 18th, 2025, at Vanderbilt Hospital, surrounded by his family who loved him deeply. Matthew had fought courageously against many health battles including Cancer due to Familial Adenomatous Polyposis.

Matthew was born on July 15, 2000 in Sterling, IL to Maggie Euhus and Marc Euhus. He Grew up in the Tampico/Rock Falls area, where he played football for E/P Panthers and graduated from Prophetstown High School in 2018. After graduation, Matthew continued to live and work in the area until moving to Tennessee in March of 2020.

On September 5th, 2024, Matthew married the love of his life, Jenna Anderson, they had two fur babies, their black lab, Apollo and their kitten, Stella.

Matthew was an avid Seattle Seahawks fan, he loved the outdoors and going on adventures and long drives, especially to Buc-ee’s. He also enjoyed playing Minecraft with his online friends, specifically Micky whom he had known since childhood. Matthew and Jenna enjoyed playing the many variations of UNO from their extensive UNO collection. They also collected duckies together. He loved Marvel and DC and enjoyed talking about cars, from the ones he owned, to the ones he wanted to own someday and all those in between. There was not a Nike hoodie or pair of shoes that Matthew did not own.

One of Matthews other passions was working. For the past four years he had worked for Pepsi, in Smyrna, TN. Matthew loved his job and was known for his work ethic. His coworkers described him as motivated, valuable and hard working.

Those left behind to honor his memory include, his wife, Jenna. Parents Maggie Euhus of Tampico, IL and Marc Euhus of Rock Falls, IL, two brothers Kyle and Logan Euhus of Tampico, IL. Maternal grandparents Ronald and Teresa Nipper, paternal grandparents Gary and Karen Euhus along with many aunts, uncles and cousins, including special cousin Molly Behrendt and family. Also his father and mother in law Derrik and Richelle Anderson, Sister in laws, Grace Anderson and Selena(Joe Smith)Vogel and brother in law, Jason Vogel and nieces Emily Vogel and Samantha Vogel-Hehe all of Manchester, TN. There are also so many friends and extended family who cared for him so deeply.

There will be a Celebration of Life held in both Tennessee and Illinois at a later date. Nashville Funeral and Cremation, Nashville, TN are handling the arrangements.
