Mattie Brooks

Mattie Brooks, age 86, passed away February 3, 2015, at St. Thomas Midtown hospital. She was born in Clarksville, Tennessee to Frank and Stella Tuberville on February 10, 1948. She is survived by daughter, Pat McCraw of Springfield, son Ricky Chester, sister Mickie Blane of San Diego, CA, and granddaughter, Abigail Chester.A memorial service will be held at on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 11 AM at Woodland St. United Methodist Church in Springfield, Tennessee.Mattie will be best remembered as “giving.” If someone was in need, Mattie would make sure that need was met, even when it involved changing her personal plans.She loved to cook for family gatherings and kept the family together by providing regular meal gatherings for them.NASHVILLE FUNERAL AND CREMATION 615-256-1605
