She is lovingly remembered by her five children (Virginia, Gustavo, Maria, Melba, Josefina), nine grandchildren (Heather, Ivonne, Manuel Jr, Gustavo, Ivan C, Ivan A, Billy, Ivanna, Sapoa), ten great-grandchildren (Maria, Camille, TJ, Carmyne, Edward, Serenity, Mary, Bronson, Omar, Noah), and her sister (Antonia).
