Mrs. Sharon Gibson

Mrs. Sharon L. Gibson was born on May 8,1950,& went to meet her Lord on August 3,2014.She passed away after a lengthy illness,at home,with her husband & children.
She is survived by her husband Melvin R.Gibson,Sr.,Mother Paticia Odom,Children Edward B.Gibson,Mitchell H.(& Sheryl)Gibson,Melvin R.Gibson,Jr.,Grandhildren Jillian,Brook,Jordon,Hunter, Edward,Madylin & McKenzie Gibson. She is also survived by two brothers & four sisters,nieces,nephews & many friends.A retired nurse,she loved God,Grandkids,gardening & geneaology,in that order.Visiation will be held on Thursday August 7,2014 from 4-6m,with funeral from 6-7pm at James Avenue Church of Christ.613 James Avenue,Nashville,Tn.,37209.She will be cremated Friday,with a private interrment at a later date.A former Red Hat Society Member,Member of various geneaology groups & the DAR.Beloved Wife,Mother,Gandmother,Sister, Aunt & Friend. In lieu of flowers,a Love Donation to the family in any amount would be greatly appreciated.
