Norma Alvarado Perez nacio el dia de Abril 28, 1949 en Chontales, Nicaragua. Ella fue la primera hija de Jose Benjamin y Priscilla Perez Miranda. Atravez de misioneros Americanos que viajaron a Nicaragua en los aňos 1950's, ella conocio a Jesus como su Salvador a una edad muy temprana de su vida. Sirvio como directora de Misiones en la Iglesia de el Nazareno. Su padre y madre sirvieron como pastores de la Iglesia Asambleas de Dios en Nicaragua por muchos aňos. Despues de su graduacion de la escuela secundaria, decidio seguir la carrera de magisterio en la que invirtio mucho aňos de su vida enseňando y educando a muchos. Ella fue una maestra abnegada y dedicada a sus alumnos quienes la amaron y siempre se mantuvieron en contacto con ella. Depues de la Guerra civil del 1979, ella participo en el programa de Alfabetizacion Nacional en el cual uso sus talentos de enseňanza y viajo a lugares rurales a enseňar a leer y escribir.Se caso con Rene Alvarado, formaron una familia con sus hijos Norma Elena, MariaJose, Rene Guillermo y Roberto. La familia se mudo a Miami, Fl en 1988 despues de soportar los estragos economicos y politicos que dejo la Guerra civil en Nicaragua. Alli ella continuo sirviendo en la Iglesia de el Nazareno for casi 20 aňos. Enseňo y discipulo a parejas jovenes, adolecentes, sirvio como Directora de Misiones y de musica mientras estaba en exilio. Su amor por la musica fue siempre muy contagiosa e inspirante para sus amigos y familia. Pero sobre todo su devocion y pasion por seguir y servir al Senor eran un ejemplo para muchos.Norma encamino a sus cuatro hijos al Seňor. Les enseňo no solo que hay un Dios tambien les demostro como vivir en el centro de la voluntad de nuestro creador. Dejo un legado de amor que es recordado por todos los que la conocieron. Sus hijos siempre recuerdan sus sacrificios desinteresados, su enseňanzas y su espiritu de dar sin esperar nada a cambio. Norma tuvo 9 nietos. Ethan (11 anos); Daniel (8 anos); Levi (7 anos); Amelia (6 anos); Asher & Alexa (5 anos); Isaac (4 anos); Johnathan (2 anos); Silas (2 anos). Unos de sus pasatiempos preferidos aparte de estudiar la palabra de Dios, era el de estar con sus nietos y ensenarles nuevas cosas.Atravez de su vida Norma fue una mujer leal, honesta y dedicada a su esposo Rene. Estuvieron casados for casi 45 anos. Nunca se canso de orar por su esposo, Rene fue el amor de su vida. La compasion que ella tenia hacia su projimo era obvia y notada por muchos que la conocieron. Daba a los que necesitaban aun cuando tenia poco. Siempre sera recordada por su amor, corage, valentia y el inmenso sacrificios que hacia por su familia y amigos. Ella continuara viviendo en lo profundo de los corazones de sus hijos y esposo. Su famila vive con la esperanza, que viene atravez de la fe en Jesus, que nos reuniremos otra vez y alabaremos a nuestro Dios juntos.Norma Alvarado, 65, descanso en paz en su hogar el Jueves, Abril 2 nd en Nashville, TN. Norma, esposa, madre, abuela y amiga amorosa. Porque su estima sobrepasa largamente a las de las piedras preciosas"Proverbios 31:10******************Norma Alvarado Perez was born April 28 th , 1949 in Chontales, Nicaragua. She was the first daughter of Jose Benjamin and Priscilla Perez Miranda. She met her savior Jesus the Messiah at a very early age through the message carried by the missionaries that came to Nicaragua in the mid 1950's. She served in missions in the Church of The Nazarene. Her father and mother served as pastors for the Assembly of God. After graduating from high school Norma decided to become a teacher and she followed her desire to invest in the lives of young people. She was a gifted teacher, she loved, cared, taught and always kept in touch with her students. She participated in the National Literacy Program in Nicaragua where she took her God-given gifts and traveled to rural areas to reach out to other and teach them to read and write.She married Rene Alvarado and together they became parents of Norma Elena, Maria Jose, Rene Guillermo and Roberto. Rene and Norma immigrated to the United States in 1988 after the political turmoil left by the Civil War of 1979. Shortly after her arrival to Miami, Florida she continued to serve in the Church of the Nazarene of Miami for almost 20 years. She taught and mentor teenagers, young married couples, served as Missions Director for many year and also helped in the music ministry. Her love for music was always very contagious to her friends and family. Plus her love, passion and devotion to God were an example of a godly woman.Norma introduced her four children to The LORD, her walk with God was obvious and a great example of faithfulness to her family and friends. She left an unforgettable legacy of love to all who knew her. Her children will always remember her unselfish sacrifices, teachings and her pouring out of herself into others. Norma had 9 grandkids, Ethan (11 yrs old); Daniel (8 yrs old); Levi (7 yrs old); Amelia (6 yrs old); Asher & Alexa (5 yrs old); Isaac (4 yrs old); Johnathan (2 yrs old); Silas (2 yrs old). One of her favorite things to do was spending time and teaching her grandchildren.Throughout her life she was a devoted and a loving wife to Rene, they were married for 45 years. She never grew tired of praying for him. Rene was the love of her life. Norma's compassion to others was obvious in her life. She gave even when did not have anything to give. We will remember her for her love, courage, example and unending sacrifices. She will continue to live inside our hearts and we will live with the hope in Christ that one day we will be reunited to praise the one who died for us.Norma Alvarado, 65, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 2 nd in Nashville, TN. Norma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her. She served the Lord for many years prior to her illness.Norma is survived by her husband, Rene Alvarado; her daughter and son-in-law Norma & Rich Edwards, her grandkids Ethan, Levi & Isaac Edwards; her daughter and son-in-law MariaJose & Hunter Hendrix, her grandkids Asher & Alexa Hendrix; her son and daughter-in-law Rene Guillermo & MariaJose Alvarado; her grandkids Daniel & Johnathan Alvarado; her son and daughter-in-law Roberto & Missy Alvarado, and her grandkids Amelia & Silas Alvarado."A wife of noble character who can find?
