Paula Inez Pierce

Paula I. Pierce, 78, passed away on January 6, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Memphis, TN, Paula grew up in Arlington, Virginia, and moved around quite a bit before making Alabaster, Alabama her long time home of 40 years. After retiring, she went on to spend her remaining days with family in Nashville, TN, at one point living in a home owned by Johnny Cash and family. She loved country music.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herb and Lucile Pierce, and her twin sister, Ruth. She is survived by her brother, Frank Pierce, his wife Judy and her beloved nephews and great - nieces and nephews, as well as her children, Britany Laye (Alex Lyon), and Megan Kelley (Kenny Kelley). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Keegan and Grayson, who she loved immensely.

She loved her family and friends with all her heart and has left a lasting mark on everyone she met.
