B. Louis “Pete” Cannon , The Scorpion , Mighty Warrior with a Servant’s Heart Born in 1946, Pete lived a full and carnivalesque life. On November 12, 2016 he was received at the Pearly Gates into the loving arms of his mother Bea, his father Reynolds, and his brother Fred. On Earth he was a selfless husband to Camille, Daddy to Betsy, John, Dolly, Turtle, and Joey Beans, stepdad to Warren, and Piepie to 13 beautiful grandchildren. Grieving him here also are numerous other family members, friends, his former wife Sherry, and his Tribe. Pete will always be remembered as irresistibly charming, classically handsome, with an infectious smile. Words used to describe him over and over are larger than life, gentle giant, mentor, guardian, and protector. Don’t you and Johnny make yourselves sick on that chess pie Granny baked. No goodbyes, we’ll just see you after while. We love you.
