Robert Calvin Bruce

The staff of Nashville Funeral and Cremation is honored to serve the Bruce family however saddened to note the passing of Robert "Bob" Calvin Bruce, age 78, of Mount Juliet, TN on July 19, 2025.

Bob Bruce is survived by his wife, Kathy, married for 43 years, his 6 children (Beth, Rick, Tim, Chrissy, Heather, and Dylan), 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 1 brother. Bob is a retired carpet installer, his career for 50+ years. He will be remembered for his love of martial arts (a 5th degree black belt and instructor), trains (riding them and creating model train layouts), playing chess (with friends at the Mt Juliet Senior Center and teaching anyone he could convince to play), and riding his bike (Kathy and Bob loved taking their e-bikes to any trail around middle TN they could find). 

Bob was hard working, resilient, silly, well-liked and respected, selfless, and a true joy to be around.
