Robert "Bob" Floyd Stevens, 81, of Gallatin, TN passed away peacefully December 5

, 2014 at Alive Hospice.He is survived by his wife, Betty Stevens of 55 years, his children, Tika Zawad (John Zawad) of Franklin, TN, Stacey Burns (John Burns) of Wichita, Kansas, and Brad Stevens (Tiffany Stevens) of Hendersonville, TN. Their six grandchildren, Amanda Zawad, Brechin Zawad, Patrick Burns, Thomas Burns, Austin Stevens, and Haley Stevens. He is also survived by one brother Tex Stevens (Jan) and numerous nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd James and Inez Stevens, brother James Clark Stevens and Sister Barbara Ann Rochelle.Bob loved spending time with his family. His grandchildren were a great joy to him. He could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. At a very early age, he found his love for fixing things and chose a career in automotive equipment and repair. He co-owned a business with his son, Brad for over twenty years. His interests included family, gardening, boating, mastering the grill and creating numerous memorable stained glass pieces that will forever be cherished by family and friends.Bob will be remembered for his quick wit, mischievous nature, ability to delegate what he wanted other to do for him, his lack of filter, but above all, his generosity.Visitation with family will be held Friday, December 12

from 3:30 to 5:30 at the Hancock House 2144 Nashville Pike, Gallatin, Tennessee 37066. Condolences may be sent to 1093 Richmond Way, Gallatin, TN 37066.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to alive hospice.
