Stan Pierce

John Stanley “Stan” Pierce Jr, born December 15, 1954, passed away suddenly Friday, May 1, 2015.Stan worked at the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy as the Range Master for 25 years. After retiring from the TLETA he became the Director of Maintenance at Donelson Christian Academy where he was currently employed for the past 10 years and loved with all his heart the school, the faculty, administration and most of all the students.Stan was proceded in death by his father and mother: John Pierce Sr. and Billie Pierce; as well as many family and friends.Stan is survived by his wife of 37 years Theresa (Terry) sons Jay with his girlfriend Allana Sneed and Chris, and girlfriend Catlyn Taylor, all whom were his greatest sense of joy and pride. Brother (Carl) and wife Linda, Eva Pierce, sister-in-law Tracy Lynn Rugg and Aunt Eva Hale (Ree) and Uncle Jim Hunley, in addition to several nieces, nephews and cousins as well as so many friends.Stan never knew a stranger. His love of life and desire to help others made him very happy. Per Stan's request his remains will be cremated and his family is currently working on a Celebration of His Life Memorial with details to follow soon.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Donelson Christian Academy Athletic Fund where he spent many, many years watching his sons compete.NASHVILLE FUNERAL AND CREMATION 615-256-1605
