Listen to Obituary

Stephanie Marie Bobo was born on October 29, 1992 and left the world behind on July 17, 2025. She was a loud soul who loved music and singing, playing video games, and her fur babies: her pupperonis Aphrodite, Rina, and Jericho and her cats Oliver and Prissy. Stephanie provided love, laughter, and happiness to those who knew her. She was a stellar athlete overall, but her abilities shined in Basketball, Volleyball, and Softball, all three sports holding a special place in her heart.

Alongside sports, Stephanie enjoyed playing video games with her fiancé, Bon Jovi and occasionally her cousin, Andy. She also enjoyed playing Tekken with her niece Alice, but was less enthused when she was beat by the 8-year-old in the game. She didn’t complain much about it though. There was certainly pride for her niece in the loss.

Stephanie enjoyed so many things in life. Music was a great passion for her, specifically singing. In fact, you were hard pressed to get her to stop singing. One of her most favorite movies was Grease, and she knew the lyrics and dances to every song and would happily belt them out to anyone who would listen. While she was apprehensive about picking up a book in her youth, she eventually found a love of reading and took time to enjoy books where she could.

She was an enigmatic soul, multifaceted in her interests and beloved by so many. To know her was to love her, and she loved so deeply and so fiercely. Though she is gone from the world, her soul lives in on with the Lord and among the millions of memories shared by her family, friends, co-workers and acquaintances.

Stephanie loved her family and they loved her. She was a loving daughter, wonderful granddaughter, beloved fiancée, and right pain in the butt for her elder sister, but one that was truly loved and can never be replaced. Stephanie had so many friends and friends she loved as family.

She is preceded in death by several great-grandparents, grandparents, and other loved ones, including her beloved Uncle David who undoubtedly met her at Heaven’s gate with open arms and love. Stephanie is survived by her parents: Richard F. Bobo and Marilyn (Alan) Hulan, her loving fiancé Bon Jovi Meade, her big sister Christina (Nick) McNeil, her niece Alice McNeil, younger brother James Paul Bobo, her paternal grandmother Linda Bozza, and maternal grandparents Steve and Debbie Greer and Nancy Harshaw, step-siblings: Cody (Megan) Hulan, Nikki (Michael) Storey, and Gary (Janet) Duke, cousins: Drew, Reid, Callie, Nathan, Cassie, Brayden, Terri Lynn, Andy, and Britni, several aunts and uncles, cousins-once-removed, and so on. On behalf of Stephanie and in memory of her personality, she would definitely like to say the following: If you’re not listed here, there isn’t enough space but she loves you and get the eff over it.

In lieu of a funeral, the family has chosen to celebrate Stephanie’s life at a later date, closer to her birthday. Stephanie’s favorite holiday was Halloween and one of her largest complaints was being born just before the holiday. In her memory, her celebration of life will be a Halloween Party/trunk-or-treat memorial to encapsulate her love of the holiday, provide an event that she loved so dearly, and to remember her favorite things about it and our favorite things about her. Please keep in contact with the family for updates on the date and time. All are welcome to attend. Additionally, in lieu of plants and flowers, please consider donating money or supplies/food to Dickson County Humane Society or another local animal shelter. Stephanie loved animals and she would love to know that her memory is taking care of them.
