Theresa Marie Pettitt, age 85, passed away on December 16, 2013.
Mrs. Pettitt was born May 12, 1928 in Elmira, New York. She was the daughter of the late James Martin an Catherine Victoria MacBlane. Theresa was one of thirteen children and is survived by five sisters.
Preceding her in death was her loving husband of 63 1/5 years. Together they had seven children. Steven Pettitt (Sandy), Troy, PA., Susan Busia (Bruce), Millerton, PA., Michael Pettitt (Debbie), Amarillo, TX., Gloria Bauer (Dan), Houston, TX., Mary Mattocks (Gordon), Waverly, TN., Theresa Fuller (Mike), Baton Rouge, LA., Annette Morseman, Troy, PA.
In addition, Mrs. Pettitt had 21 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren. Theresa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by many.
Theresa was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. A memorial service will be held on January 18, 2014 at 4:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1430 Old Mills Rd. Towanda, PA.
