Vernon Pewitt

Vernon Pewitt, age 71 of Antioch, passed away at his residence on April 24, 2021. He is survived by his daughter Felicia (John) Mason and two sons Lucas Pewitt and Adam (Cassie) Pewitt; brother Paul Cleveland (Sheila) Pewitt; two sisters Diane (James) Parham and Ruby Lee Toombs. There are three grandchildren; Ryan, Olivia, and Ellie.He is preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Mary (Roberts) Pewitt, son Vernon Scott "Scottie" Pewitt, brothers William Howard, Eddie J., James Horace, and John Thomas Pewitt, sisters Cora Lucille Pewitt, and Mary Elizabeth (Pewitt) Jones.Mr. Pewitt was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and worked many years in the electrical industry.Visitation will be held beginning at 1:00 PM on May 7, 2021 at Strong Tower Bible Church located at 5253 Granny White Pike Nashville, TN 37220. Memorial service begins at 1:30, followed by burial at 3:30 PM at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens.
