On Friday, January 6, 2023, Wesley "Wes" Thomas De-Hay passed at the age of 80 in Nashville, TN. Wes was born April 30, 1942 in Charleston, South Carolina.
A Vietnam veteran, Wes proudly served his country in the Marine Corps. After serving, he came home to become a South Carolina highway patrolman. Wes was a true cowboy.
He is preceded in death by his stepdad Pete Easterling; brother, Claude De-Hay; and sister, Theresa (Helen) Giles.
He is survived by his loving wife Lenora De-Hay; 3 sons, Wesley Muir (Laura), Lonnie Broome (Lisa), Lesley Muir (Lisa); 3 daughters, Bridgett Miesner (Travis), Claudia De-Hay, and Presley De-Hay; mom, Rose Scandell; sisters, Rose De-Hay and Linda Patrick; brother, William Easterling; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
