William Clark

February 5, 1942 — March 31, 2018

Mr. William Edwin Clark, age 76 of Franklin, passed away March 31, 2018 at his residence.
A native of Humboldt, TN, Edwin was the son of Edwin Bert Clark and Mildred Annette Clark. Early in his career he was introduced to educating as teaching assistant at the University of Connecticut. The most significant part of his career, he served as an educator, working with students, staff and facilities at the FLOC School - For the Love of Children School. Edwin loved reading especially historical accounts, flower gardening and listening to music. His gentle, kind way endeared him to every person he met. Known to his family as "Brother," he enjoyed family gatherings catching up on lives of each family member. Living in a simple, genuine manner, he was generous with his time and talents. Devoted to the family dogs, Edwin frequently gave them treats, brushed their coats and indulged their lap sitting.
He is survived by his daughter: Canyon and Chris Lukasiak; sons: Jordan and Johanna Clark and John Clark; grandchildren: Gabe Lukasiak, Zach Lukasiak, Josh Lukasiak, Ben Lukasiak, Hope Lukasiak, Jordan Clark, Jr., Caroline Clark and Kathleen Clark; siblings: Dr. William and Mrs. Annette Bickers, and Mr. Lewis Clark & Mrs. Lynny Seiter.
Edwin's family will celebrate his life on April 14 at 11am at the Aloft hotel in Franklin, Tennessee with a brief service and reception.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to either the Nashville Rescue Mission or the National Wildlife Federation. Edwin supported both of these organizations, as they were near and dear to his heart.
