Bruce Ambrosiani

May 23, 1959 — January 19, 2023

Bruce lost his battle against Acute Myeloid Leukemia or AML after a diagnosis last spring.

Born in Wilmington, DE, Bruce grew up in Wyomissing, PA. He attended Sacred Heart School in West Reading, PA and graduated from Holy Name High School in 1977. He was an enthusiastic member of the Bluejays football team as well as Boy Scout Troop 413.

In 1985, Bruce moved to Greensboro, NC, then to Norcross, GA, and finally to Rome, GA, where he made his home for the past 20 years. While in Rome, Bruce worked at Rome Electric Motor Works, where, because of his kindness, jovial spirit, and mastery of trivia, he became a friend to many. He enjoyed spending weekends with those friends, especially at the lake, and fish frys.

He is survived by his seven siblings Michael (Eliane), Mark (Cindy), Craig (Naneth), Janis, Daniel (Shannon), Dennis (Robin), and Lynn (Terry); and several nieces and nephews.

He was dearly loved by those near and far, and he will be deeply missed.

The family is planning two memorial services for their brother. One in Rome, GA in February on a date to be determined and a final gathering at the family's camp near Cato, NY at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to the Alive Hospice in Nashville. (https://www.alivehospice.org/get-involved/give/)
