Jacob Latourrettee

December 16, 1979 — October 30, 2022

“If I die from cancer, the fight is not a loss, but a draw!” - Jake

On October 30th, 2022, Jacob Ryan LaTourrette; loving Fiancé, brother and best friend passed away at the age of 42 surrounded by his loving family. An infantryman and combat veteran, Jake was deployed with Charlie Company, 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. An avid shooter and sportsman, Jake loved spending time with his brothers and friends talking about guns and shooting targets.

He was a proud American, with great love for his country, our founding fathers, and all that served before him to give us the freedoms we cherish, never forgetting those that gave their lives for us in battle and lived according to the same tradition and virtue.

With a thankful heart, Jake exemplified selflessness even at the very end of his life. Jake always made a lasting impression on people and will never be forgotten. Jake is forever loved and will be deeply missed.
