Celebration of life services for Annie Bellenfant Williams will be held on Tuesday, Oct 20th, at Christ United Methodist Church in Franklin, TN. Visitation will be at 1pm and the service at 2pm. Annie passed away at Alive Hospice Madison Skyline on Saturday, September 26th.
She was born in 1931 in Eagleville, TN to Granville and Annie Mae Bellenfant. After graduating from Eagleville High School, she moved to Nashville where she met and married Chuck Williams, they were married for 62 years.
Annie worked as a special education teacher’s aid for Metropolitan Nashville Schools for 25 years. When she retired, she enjoyed playing golf with the Al Menah Shrine Ladies and the Spencer Creek Ladies League. Annie was a member of the elite group of golfers claiming two holes in one during a one week time period. The Tuesday Domino group was the highlight of her week and the Oak Hill Garden Club gave her an opportunity to share her green thumb.
Annie is survived by her husband, Chuck; her 3 children, Vicki Williams, Lea Mabe, Andi Williams, and her husband, Charlie Landreth; her 3 grandchildren, Andrew, Noah and Celia; her sister, Lois Kraft, and many nieces and nephews.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be given to Shriners Hospital for Children or the Special Olympics.
We will miss her. The family of Annie Williams wishes to thank Willowbrook Hospice, Morningside Assisted Living, and Alive Hospice for their compassionate care.
