Betty Jean Ryals

April 14, 1930 - July 12, 2020
Ryals

Betty Jean Ryals, 90, Smyrna, TN went to be with her Lord & Savior July 12, 2020. Born in Franklin, KY to Arnett & Rita Lovelady Anderson. Preceded in death by loving husband Roland J. Ryals, sisters Christine Jarman (James), Linda North (David). Survived by devoted brother Tommy Anderson (“like a sister” Nancy), daughters Karen Stone (John), Connie Jernigan (Glenn), 5 precious grandchildren & 7 adorable great-grandchildren.

Betty represented many qualities of the Probverbs 31 woman, especially vv.27-28. She watched over her household (& others), never idle. Roland respected and adored her. Family & friends witnessed how her faith in God blessed her beyond our imagination.Betty never missed an opportunity to feed someone or offer a glass of sweet tea. She was quick to spot a need & fulfill it best she could. She loved taking care of others. It is only fitting The Lord provided her with the best caregivers at her residence , The Waterford in Smyrna, family & friends.

She will be greatly missed.

Graveside service will be held July 29, 2020 at 9 am. Woodlawn-Roesh-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial, The Field of Honor.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Senior Helpers Education Fund, 109 Holiday Court, D-1, Franklin, TN 37067

Betty Jean was an amazing woman I had the honor of caring for her and beautiful her friend at The Waterford! She always put a smile on my face and joy in my heart. And my hair color will always remain the same, she would just touch it and smile saying it reminded her of her mother’s hair♥️
