Carlow Britt Shepherd

August 18, 1943 - February 20, 2015
In Memorial
Mr. Carlow Britt Shepherd, age 71 of Nashville, passed away February 20, 2015 at Centennial Medical Center.
He served the Lord Jesus Christ and shared his faith with Love and Boldness, not ever ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Rom 1:16-17 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For it in the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, ‘The righteous shall live by faith.'”
John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'”
Heb 9:27-28 “And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.”
Mr. Shepherd was born August 18, 1943 in Hazard, KY and was the son of the late William Jesse Shepherd and Alpha Mae Ritchie Shepherd. He served his country with the United States Air Force in Alaska during the Vietnam Era.
Carl retired from Okaloosa County property appraiser State of Florida after thirty years as a Systems Analyst. He was a dedicated family man and loved spending time with his three sons and family.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years: Frances Lundy Shepherd; his three sons and wives: Shawn and Sherry Shepherd, Scott and Paula Shepherd and Jason and Bertha Shepherd; his grandchildren: Matheu Shepherd, Jacob Shepherd, Nicholas Shepherd, Joab Shepherd, Gabryel Shepherd, Savannah Shepherd, Julia Shepherd, Daniel (Zack) Shepherd, Jessica Shepherd and Jinnelle Shepherd; and two sisters: Jean Smith of Dayton Ohio and Christine Johnson of Grand Rapids Michigan.
Mr. Shepherd will be laid to rest on Thursday, Feb 26, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, with military honors.
