Our prayers and sympathy to the many friends of Ozark, American, TWA, the Nashville Airport family and the many friends Dave made as he traveled around the country.Dave never met a stranger and was a kind and always grateful for friendships. He loved to travel camp, meet new people. Friends who took road trips with Dave will never forget the great times! He was a gentle person who was loved my many. Thanks for the many memories Dave!
Worked with Dave (Alex) in St. Louis for approx. 20 years (TWA and American)…have many very good memories of all the times shared with him at work and socially, as I’m sure most everyone he worked alongside can agree with…I will especially miss his insight on the music and bands of our generation and how passionate he was about it…we used to tell each other whenever we had the opportunity to chat “it’s all about the music”…Rest in Peace Dave…say hello to Hendrix, Morrison, Joplin, Moon, Entwhistle, Jones, etal…
My only sibling and older brother. What can I say? As a kid I idolized him. Years went by as I escaped West, he worked in places he didn’t choose to be. After our Moms passing, we reconnected. He made numerous trips to OR and we were both amazed at our parallel thinking on music, nature, VWs, motorcycles, and our love for “Benito.” Murphy loved her midnight walks with you. My heart aches at your passing and I hope you can find peace and happiness that seemed to always elude you. I will miss our all night phone conversations. And remember, You Don’t Have To Live Like A Refugee”. Ride into the light.
