“Momma Kimmy” was like an adventure book. So many stories she would read to you, so many stories she would let you add to her pages. She dedicated her time and love to creating memories for everyone she crossed paths with. Her biggest joys could be found in creating magical moments with her children and grandchildren. She was notorious for “Camp Kimmys”. Blowing bubbles, dancing in the rain, wind chimes, food fights, counting it all joy, kicking cow patties, singing happy birthday, creating art, and making funny face pancakes. It was all the little things that brought her the biggest smiles and purest joy!
There were many chapters and many lines. Her biggest moments were playing chess as a little girl with her Grampy. Going into real estate with her best friend, her sister Christy. Rescuing and rehabilitating hundreds of animals and wildlife. Opening her home to homeless mothers and their babies. Driving all night with her husband to adopt their “Ollie Ollie Ollie”. So many beautiful pages she shared with so many people.
She leaves us all with several blank pages to fill, but she left us with this title… “The center of the watermelon is always the sweetest”.
May God bless you, and protect you, and give you sweet dreams, forever and forever, amen.
My condolences to everyone, including Kim’s family, friends and animals. May you all move through your mourning towards hope.
I never met you but from what I’ve heard you must have been a lovely person. Brad was very lucky to have you in his life. May God Bless you and your whole family. RIP
