Loretta Faye (Little Darlin’) (Allen) Riley, 80, born in Stacy Fork Kentucky, February 8th, 1936, moved from earthly ground to higher eternal life on May 2nd, 2016.
She was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School and Kentucky Mountain Bible College, Alton Memorial Hospital, Greenville College in Illinois, and Indiana University. After her missionary service as a nurse, midwife and Bible College and nursing instructor in Africa she worked at Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute and later taught classes in grief management at the Tennessee Prison for Women in Nashville.
She is predeceased by her four-year-old son; John Allen Riley; parents; Clifford and Thelma Allen, brother-in-law and sister-in-law missionaries David and Annie (Robinson) Riley.
She is survived by Rev. Thomas Riley (Tom), loving husband of 55 years, sisters and brother-in-law Carole (Allen) and Roger Costa of Nashville, sister Denise (Allen) Travers of Port Canaveral, FL; nieces Pamela Costa and Monique Bressler; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; missionary surgeon Dr. Paul and Martha (Thomas) Riley of Riverside, CA, and Duane and Lois (Riley) Norden of York, NE; nieces, nephews and cousins living in Colombia, South America, Arizona, California, Nebraska, Texas, Ohio, Florida and Kentucky. Extended family Dr. Esther and Jeff Swink and a host of loving friends and co-workers.
Visitation will be held Monday May 9th from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM, Memorial service in Heritage Chapel, Nashville First Church of the Nazarene, 510 Woodland St. Service will be video recorded.

At a later date her ashes will be placed beside her son John, in Memorial Gardens, Kankakee, Il.
