Mark Reginald Morehouse

May 22, 1948 - January 2, 2019
In Memorial

Mark passed away at age 70 on January 2, 2019 at Alive Hospice in Madison, TN after a short battle with kidney cancer. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Del Morehouse, two daughters Kristy Nicole Morehouse Scott and Kimberly Morehouse Hubbell, two son-in-laws Jay Scott and Richard Hubbell, two grandsons, Carson Michael Scott and Landon Slade Hubbell. Also survived by his sister MaryAnn Morehouse Smith, brother in law, David Russell Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, sister in laws, brother in laws, cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was born in Lafayette, IN and grew up in Frankfort, IN and later Massena, NY where he attended High School, he went on to Graham Junior College in Boston and received an associates degree in communications and broadcasting. He was a DJ for many years and later went on to work for and retire from the US Postal Service.  His hobbies were music, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Mark dearly loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He loved going to church at Life Church and listening to sermons and southern gospel music.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00am Monday January 7, 2019 at Life Church, 120 Indian Lake Blvd, Hendersonville, TN 37075. Visitation with the family will begin at 9:00am, one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at 3:30pm at Center Hill Cemetery, 13108 County Road 747 Hanceville, Alabama 35077.
