Martha “Nanny” Tubbs

November 10, 1932 - September 22, 2019

Martha “Nanny” Tubbs, 86, of Lebanon, Tn., passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 with her family by her side. She was born November 10, 1932 in Florence, Al.

Preceded in death by her husband John Tubbs, parents J.N. & Willie Morgan, brothers Elbert Morgan, Arnold Morgan and J.W. Morgan and daughters Brenda Gail Tubbs and Kathy Mae Tubbs.

Survived by brother Georgie Lee Morgan, daughters Denise Nichols, Kaye (Dennis) White, Rene’e (Tim) Benson and Jackie Gonzalez. . Grandchildren Kristin Dunn, Melissa Smith, Kayla (Anthony) Hartley, Kassandra Tubbs, Zachary Gonzalez, Jensen White & Heather Gonzalez. Great grandchildren Hannah Hartley, Aaliyah Hartley & A.J. Hartley.  Plus, all those others that considered her their Nanny.

Pallbearers Dennis White, Jensen White, Zachary Gonzalez and Anthony Hartley.

Graveside service Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 1pm. Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville, Tn. 3221.

    My thoughts and prayers are with you all, martha was a sweet woman who clearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her family I’m sure.may God be with you all during this difficult time.
