Paul Eldridge Taylor was born to his parents Dennis Taylor, Jr. and Jean Norton in 1947 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served honorably in Vietnam in 1970-71 with the 597th Truck Company, 27th Transportation Battalion as a driver and gunner of the Heavy Lift Gun Truck “Bad Hombre”.
Upon returning home, Paul studied HVAC systems and became a certified HVAC Technician and worked in the industry until his retirement. After a protracted illness, Paul passed away during his stay at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on Friday, May 26th, 2017. His remains will be laid to rest at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens, In Hendersonville, Tennessee. A gravesite service will be held at 10:30am Tuesday June 13, 2017.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Taylor of Hendersonville, Tennessee, two daughters, three step-children, and several grandchildren.
