On Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 11:48 A.M. Paul James Dekmar passed away at the age of 83 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. Paul was a loving father of four children, and grandfather of four.

Paul was born on June 27, 1937 in New Jersey. He enlisted in the United States Air Force at the age of 18, and was stationed in Germany. He was very proud to be able to serve his country, and he would tell us many stories on how it was some of his best memories. Besides serving his country; Paul loved watching and listening to Elvis Pressley as much as he could. He loved it so much that he turned his house into an Elvis museum of memorabilia. One thing for sure, if you knew Paul Dekmar or if you ever came in contact with him he had an innate ability to brighten your day and ultimately leave an everlasting loving imprint on your heart.

Paul was preceded in death by his father: Balaz; mother: Mary; and his son: Michael Dekmar. He is survived by three children: Wayne Dekmar, Kristan Dekmar, and Travis Dekmar. He had four grandchildren: Vincent Robinson Jr., Kalyshia Richardson, Carson Dekmar, and Tripp Dekmar. In addition he is survived by his brothers and sister, nieces and nephews.

A Funeral service will be held on July 10 at 11:30AM at East Tennessee State Veteran Cemetery in Knoxville, TN.
