
R. Chris Montgomery, age 59 of Nashville, TN passed away on June 23, 2019.
Chris was born June 26, 1959 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late John and Betty Montgomery. He began working in the Food Industry while at DuPont High School, with over 30 years at Waffle House.
Chris loved his Atlanta Braves, Fishing, Crossword Puzzles, Old Western Movies and was a bit of a History Buff.
He also loved his close-knit family and is survived by His Devoted Wife Missy, Children Daniel, Kelley, Shaun (Kelsey), and Tanner (Jessica), and Grandchildren Ryan and Alyssa.
Surviving brothers and sisters are Ellen Kee (David), Nancy (Mac), Annie, Carol Edens (Daryl) and Matt (Erica). Niece and Nephews are Evin Edens, Zach Edens and Will Montgomery.

A Family service will be held at a later date.

My condolences to the family of Chris. We can always rely on the God of all comfort to help us endure any trials or obstacles, especially the painful loss of a dear loved one. (2 Corinthians 1: 3, 4). Our loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah, has given us the wonderful assurance that we can and will see our loved ones again by means of a resurrection to an earth transformed into a beautiful paradise.
Chris and I were really good friends in high school. My prayers are with the entire family.
