Clifton Earl Duncan, Jr.

September 28, 1939 - October 12, 2015
In Memorial

Clifton Earl Duncan, Jr. age 76, of Springfield, TN, died peacefully at home on October 12, 2015 after a long illness. Mr. Duncan was born on September 28, 1939 to Dorothy Parman and Clifton Duncan. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Gail Gentry and Carolyn Conley. 

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Henry Duncan, sons Michael (Beth) Duncan of Nashville, Randy Duncan of Greenbrier, grandchildren Kaitlyn Duncan (fiancé Will Murray) of Greenbrier, and Hunter Duncan of Nashville. He enjoyed his family, gardening, feeding and watching the birds in his backyard, and riding his scooter. He will be missed by many friends and family members, including several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Duncan was a member of South Haven Baptist Church, Springfield, where a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th at 11 a.m. with visitation with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to South Haven Baptist Church Building Fund.  Special thanks to Beth Daniel, RN, with Gentiva Hospice for the loving care she provided.
